  Great Comfort food. great place to relax to have a function. two extra room for privacy. Has a pretty cool table with a miniature train set moving.

  Great Family Restaurant! I love this place. I come every time I am in the Kansas City area. They have great prices, friendly service and excellent food. My favorite is the liver and onions.

  The locals know this is the place to go. Endless cup of coffee and everything cooked the way you like it - not just a greasy spoon. When I order my veggie omelettes grilled dry, that is the way they are cooked without fail. Multiple fresh sides available throughout the day. Amazing specialties of the house - including liver and onions done like your mother did it. I seek the "light plates" and my husband wants something more substantial - we are both satisfied and I love the local camaraderie. My college aged kids love to come here as well. Tip well - these folks deserve it. Great prices. Though invariably busy, there always seems to be a spot to sit.
